Good afternoon all
After a number of technical difficulties registering on the forums please may I say hello
I am 33 and have been a brass player since I was 7 and two years ago decided I wanted to play piano. I passed grade 2 in April (Merit) and have just started with my third teacher (two previous ones left the county, hopefully not because of me!) As most adult students here I suffer stupidly with nerves even in lessons but am slowly overcoming that.
Anyway hello all!

Hello Juniper and welcome.

Congratulations on your grade 2. What kind of music do you like to play?

I'm definitely more for the classics, currently learning Bach Little Prelude in C from Classics to Moderns 3. I don't know why but the jazzy piano stuff doesn't appeal to me much which is a bit odd for a trumpeter!

Hello, Welcome to the forum. There is much support here for us adult learners. I think many of us suffer from nerves - I am on the severe end of the scale (excuse the piano pun) so you are not alone.

Happy reading and don't get too addicted!
