i was looking on the nywo website to see if i could audition. i can't because i'm a)too young and b) not good enough, but i found the focus on saxophone course, which you only have to be 14 and grade 5-7 for. which i am. so i'm considering it
so, has anyone been? would it be worth it?

I can't help I'm afraid. Just wanted to say thanks for making me aware of this as I see they also run chamber music courses for wind players. My daughter much prefers playing in small groups to orchestral playing and all my attempts to find chamber music courses to date had only yielded courses for string players. We too would be interested in anyone's NYWO experiences!
