) renewed their wedding vows for their golden wedding anniversary, our priest asked if I could play something weddingy for the voluntary, so the mendlessohn was the obvious choice, it had the biggest round of applaus, (for the couple of course) I've ever heard, the church was full and it is the only time there have ever been people left in the church when I reached the end of it - it was a great feeling, and the most sincere vows I've ever heard in all the years of playing for weddings
