If you had to choose between food and music, which would you decide? Is that garlic bread just tempting or is the music your life?

I would select music. if someone told me I can have all the food I ever wnated but I had to give up my violin then I would tell them to push off.

Put simply: I am very good at playing teh violin but average at best at cooking. To me food is just something used to cure hunger.

That's a good idea! Could I pick food in the morning, and music in the afternoon? Spend the morning eating enough to last me until the next morning and then play enough music to last me until the next afternoon?

I think the name of the forum 'Food OR Music?' Eating in the morning and music in the afternoon just defeats the whole objective of the question! (Because, this is such a serious forum...)

Oh well! I really can't answer the question then. I really want to say music, but everyone needs food (I know everyone here needs music aswell!). I hope I don't ever actually have to choose between food and music!

It's a simple choice really, I made a vou to find the best hamburger in the world.

I'd lie and say the first random thing that comes into my head...then I'll run away, so they'll never find me playing my piano (or cello), or I'd use my Tae-Kwon-Do skills to knock them out!

No it's not, it's quite imaginitive You didn't say in your OP that the decision was to be a once and for all decision, so as that part of the question was not precise I answered it correctly - at any particular moment in time I will choose Food OR Music.

Or something else equally as interesting...

I've never used one as a table.

My ideal situation would be eatung a perfectly cooked steak with someone playing a romantic tune on some form of string instrument, preferably a harp.

maybe one day when I am no longer a student I can afford to learn the harp. I hope, anyway.

When anyone answers to this questoin keep in mind that you would only survive for a month without food. So the question should be; would you rather live a life without music or live a month with music.

I do enjoy food, so much so that indulge in it about 3-4 times a day.
The piano however, a mere 2-3 times per week in the summer holidays...

I'm finding myself playing more and more lately. I can easily do 5 or more hours on a Saturday or Sunday if I don't have anything else planned and 2 or 3 hours on a weeknight. My sister says that I am becoming "addicted"...

While I can't practice for more than about 1 hour at any 1 time I can easily not get bored after 4+ hoirs an orchestra rehearsal.

All I am saying is that if I have musical people with me I can keep going for hours upon hours upon hours......

However I can't play when I am hungry, I have programmed my brain not to all me to do so.

Wow some of you guys seem to play more regularly than I eat!! Though the piano as a table sounds quite cool
