I am sorry to bother, but I am currently preparing for grade 3 theory on my own and I have checked and double checked it, but I would rather have another set of eyes to confirm if I got it right.

Exercise 1: 2, 8, 4, 32, 6, 24, 12

Exercise 2:
a) in front of the last set of demisemiquavers
b) In front of the last demisemiquaver rest
c) after the crotchet rest, after the crotchet rest, after the minim rest
d) after the second triplet, after the second triplet

Exercise 3:
a) quaver rest
b) demisemiquaver rest
c) semiquaver rest
d) quaver rest
e) semiquaver rest
f) a dotted quaver rest
g) a crotchet rest
h) a crotchet and a semiquaver rest

your answers to Exercise 1 look fine.

Answers to Exercise 2 - you need another bar line in your answer to b, and answer to c looks wrong.

Answers to Exercise 3 are correct, apart from g - have another try (remember you need 4 beats in the bar)

Question 3e I get as a quaver?? Its 3/4 time

6 demisemiquavers and one semi quaver make up one beat
2 quavers make up one beat
2 semiquavers make up half a beat

So shouldn't the rest be a quaver rest and not a semiquaver rest?

Sorry I know this thread is old, but I'm working through grade 3 at the moment and want to be sure I'm on the right lines.
