Hello,

I am going to be having auditioning for my University's Chamber Orchestra sometime in September which would get me the chance to play a concerto of my choice.

As an organist, the Handel concertos spring to mind. I found some of the concertos online and have been looking at the organ parts, so i am pretty sure I can play them.

However, the Head of the Orchestra want information on where the Orchestral music can be hired of bought from.
Anybody know who publishes the Handel Organ concertos (Organ and Orchestral parts) so that when I go back to Chichester, I can see if the music shop can order them in.

Thank you

There are several publishers. Most are listed on www.chamberlainmusic.com . Do a search 'Handel Organ Concertos' Yields 10 pages ! The ones at the beginning at £1.95 are probably just the organ part, the later ones, higher priced, may container other parts. You can ring them anyway. despite being in the north , I often order music from them and they are very helpful.

If you struggle and fancy something different, the Stanley COncertos are excellent and OUP hire the parts out. Solo parts no harder than Handel.
