I like the sound of the first one, but I don't think my piggy bank can stretch to another trip and my thesis can't either. sad.gif

That's a pity sad.gif

I'll put a load of other gigs up through 2010, and if you can make any of them, you'll be most welcome Flossie smile.gif

I think we should be able to fit you in. I'll talk to oboe d'amore in the morning, and we'll endeavour to sort out a ticket for you near/next to us (I don't know exactly where in the auditorium she's got the tickets). smile.gif

I'll probably be working in the box office that day anyway until the show starts. Seats are pretty much all booked up as well, so it's proving to be very popular up here biggrin.gif

Hi PG..the concert is at the Southbank Centre, London on 31st Jan/1st Feb next year. You need to ring them very very soon as they were almost sold out when I got my tickets back in March. Hope you have some luck! smile.gif

Thank you very much everyone, I also had a nice time. 1st Flute was really nice, wasn't it?
And I practiced Cor Anglais Saturday afternoon before forget beautiful sounds we heard in the concert - But I realized how much air I need to blow to make "farely good" sounds.... sad.gif
I need 50 times more practice.

At last, thank you very much for looking after my daughter - although she missed ALL symphony, she had a great evening, she said!

Hope to see you soon (Some are in Jan?)
Good luck for 5 Dec. I am sorry I can't make it. I have my orchestra's concert.... I will make next time!

The flautist was great, yes. I'm sure you'll be playing the cor solo in the 2nd movement of the Dvorak before you know it... smile.gif
