Does anyone no a way of searching just for sheet music on Amazon? I keep getting a mix of CDs and novels about composers whenever I try to find anything. unsure.gif

I think you need to be quite specific with what you ask it to find. I haven't had any trouble finding things, but then I haven't done any 'browsing'. There are some good deals to be had, and I've sold quite a lot of my surplus music on there too - so easy, compared to ebay.

I have amazon vouchers to spend and they don't seem to have the particular thing I was after at a reasonable price (why would you want to buy a used book for £62 when you can buy it new for about 15?!?!), so I'm just browsing for recorder music really.

You can get rid of the cds by searching under "books" (cds come under "music"), but you'll still get novels. Amazon isn't the best place for a good choice of sheet music - specialist music shops are better, but you can find quite a lot. If you are specific about the exact work you want you will get more relevant results.

I've managed to get rid of the cds and most of the completely irrelevant books by wading through the sections a bit. Now I have 'recorder from the beginning', 'recorder magic', 'very easy tunes for viola'and the like to contend with. wacko.gif

I can only suggest that you do you browsing elsewhere, decide what you want, and then look on Amazon...

I got some music I was looking for on Amazon for next to nothing second hand. But I can't remember how I managed the search. Like Sue says, perhaps it's better if you know exactly what you want.

Amazon is cheap as mentioned but searches do have to be rather specific.
