I particularly liked that "What Katy Did" illustration" and that was the best Blue Jay picture I could find.

I am not too sure it was a Jay , but that's what I took it to be. They are bigger birds than that but it might have been a young one. There's less blue on the adults, we get them sometimes in the garden

I don't think it was a jay. The jays I get in my garden look nothing like that! I wonder if it was an American blue-jay?

We have jays here too. They are blue(ish) but not like US or UK jays. wacko.gif

It certainly would.

Cyrillic and the solfege hand signal for la

When devising that clue, I felt I had to make it pertinent to Cyrilla herself as the obvious one for la was a reference to solfege, and by inference the teaching of Kodaly.
