Having taught three children from the same family for the past 11 years, the latest child seemed to be switching off, having just got a good pass in gd 3. She texted her mother, who for the past 11 years has used our comfy den, read my magazines, talked on her mobile while waiting for the children, from summer camp to say she doesn't wait to have lessons any more -well fair enough-but I haven't heard a dicky bird form her, mother or any one else, so much so that I went round and put the certificate in her letter box today -that's how disinterested she was. Has anyone had examples of this kind of behavour!!
This is, by the way,is the same mother who never paid me on time!

Oh Barbara, shish kebabing is too good for some people. I hope they gave you proper notice, but something tells me . . . It isn't much consolation, but are you better off without them?

Of course they didn't give me notice and yes, I am much happier without them!

Good!

I'm lucky at the moment, I've got reasonable and fair pupils and families. Mind you though I've really had the run around before

. Anyway, hope you get some better replacements soon.
