Can someone clarify for me which half of a 'cello bow is the "upper" half and which is the "lower", as used in, for instance, Dotzauer?

Thanks!

Flossie
The upper half of the bow is the half nearest the tip (the pointy end) and the lower half of the bow is the half nearest the frog (which is at the end you hold). smile.gif

Thanks Flossie! That's what I was thinking (altho' I could also justify the alternative definition in my mind).
