If I look at my rankings in the the Forum Awards this year (I should have updated my profile earlier!), I come to the conclusion that I will change my haircolour to blond and aspirate "Odes to Obama" from now on. Good option if you are rather useless at everything but at least look alright

I have thoroughly enjoyed my nearly four years here, with the online activity, the events, visting concerts, meeting some thoroughly lovely people, and just generally enjoying forum life! And the support I've received when I've needed help and guidance (and, on occasion, a shoulder to cry on) has been wonderful.
Hope you've all enjoyed having me here I'll still be here in 2010, with more events and generall clarinetty advice! And thank you all again!

I have met, had on-line discussions with, or exchanged PM's with almost everyone that gathered votes (or a vote!) in this category. I am honoured and flattered to even feature in the same list - never mind be close to the top of it.
As for the recent silly withdrawal from the forums for a week or two? Silly says it all.
The moderation policy is stupidly inflexible, and applied inhumanly. That is a fact. But why should I punish myself and the rest of the forum members because the moderators think they are characters in Gormenghast.
So I will carry on as usual, until I acquire 5 warnings and get banned for life!
