Hello All,


Thought that since I spotted this sub-forum hiding in the shadows, it seemed like a good place to introduce myself.

I'm 34, been playing the electric guitar since my early teens, but since the ABRSM don't consider that a real instrument, decided to learn violin. I'll be taking the Grade I exam in session C this year.

I've also been studying seriously with the OU, having done A103, A214, AA302, and just finishing up AA317 at the moment. I'll be probably taking a year out after that to do some more in-depth counterpoint, harmony, and analysis study.

Once I start to get my head round the ABRSM way of doing things, I'll start contributing a bit more here
