Me again. wittering on about my choir.


We are currently singing Blame it on the Boogie. I think the range is Bflat to D. They all sing it in a more 'popular' style rather than 'classical'. I am careful that they are not shouting it. I think that this is OK.
Am I wrong?

Probably impossible to answer, since the information is very general, and sadly we cannot hear your choir here. The repertoire certainly requires a more contemporary style, but as I said: Impossible to say if they are singing it the right way if I can't hear them.

Not shouting is usually a good idea for a choir though
