Did they mean 250 holes in each oboe? I'm going to count one day, when I get another oboe... tongue.gif

Hmm - I just roughly counted up the vents, post holes and miscellaneous screw holes in my S40 and I reckon less than 100.

hmmmm....watching it again I think that is down to poor editing and he is actually answering a different question, as the guy that says 250 is watching someone put all the bits together and then says something about it being more than you think because some of them are soldered together. So maybe it is 250 metal bits that they have to put on to the oboe rather than the number of holes. (which is less than 100 on my oboe too!).

250 metal bits then? Makes a bit more sense... I'll count those too tongue.gif

Oh hold on while I strip mine down to count it all accurately. Now where's that screwdriver?

Stripping it down and counting it is the easy bit;

It's putting it back together that's a problem wink.gif

So it would be blink.gif Especially if we're to assume that the video meant 250 metal bits... wacko.gif

Apparently there is going to be tours of the workshops on 8th Dec! I've been on one before (ok, so I lie, I've done it 3 times - but in my defence I love it!!!)
