How long it will take to reach gr 5 practical level for a beginner to learn Trumpet. Can any one suggest some books for a beginner to learn trumpet.

My frd toke 5 years

practise practise practise!!!

and get yourself into a local group as soon as you feel confident, as playing with others is always more fun than just by yourself, plus if the person next to you is better than you, it will encourage you to work the extra bit harder to play at the same standard as them.

but remember to be patience, grade 5 wont happen over night.
