This may well be the silliest question I've yet asked on here, but never mind...
I'm meant to have an audition in Glasgow on Tuesday in front of a couple of rather famous record producers. I still can't believe I've been invited to audition, and would absolutely love the chance to get somewhere. I've been excited about this for weeks and have it all planned (but thankfully haven't yet bought a ticket). I say thankfully because...
...on Friday I was confirmed as having swine flu, and am coughing incessantly and struggling to breath, along with all the other symptoms. With one day to go... there really isn't any hope for this audition, is there?

Give them a ring first thing tomorrow and explain the situation.

It sounds like it's in everyone's best interests for the audition to be delayed (and I'm sure that they don't want you to give them swine flu

).
Hope you're feeling better soon, Floss.

Edit: If they can't accommodate you then it's maybe just one of those things that wasn't meant to be on this occasion - in which case you may find that you get an even better opportunity later. Things have a habit of working themselves out for us regardless of how much we try to be in charge.
