At the moment I'm not pedalling the first beat but then pedal the 2nd to 3rd beat in each bar. Then off for the 1st in the next bar and then down for the 2nd and 3rd again.e.t.c.
Basically following the chordal harmony and it sounds better than just legato pedalling each bar which I think sounds too mushy with too many passing notes in the melody.
Ive tried typical 'waltz' pedalling but it doesn't seem to work....to many passing notes in the melody. Not sure if Im on the right tracks with this one? Any ideas on the 'texured' section also needed.
