If you have chosen an alternative piece for an exam, does it have to be the same edition of the piece as suggested by the ABRSM?

I have chosen an alternative 'B' piece for Grade 7 and my teacher has given me a much older copy than suggested, but is it still ok to play from?

Any (legal!) edition you like, providing the syllabus doesn't stipulate an edition (the editions in there are just a suggestion, unless it says something like 'must be Amadeus edition')

If you want to look at the regs for editions, it's 15f biggrin.gif
