No you havent missed anything Eldatom. Basically Andrew is having his Tonsils out and we just found out it is booked in for the 5th December! I sent Solari a message saying I wasnt sure if I could come, but Andrew wants me to still go. He is being booked in in the morning and then I will visit him early evening. I feel a bit guilty coming but there is not much else I can do in between anyway. Is that bad?

No, definitely you should NOT feel bad, if you stay at home you will just start worrying, whereas coming out to play with us, your mind will be taken off things and the time will go quickly, before you know it, it will be time to pick him up again. Typical though that you it had to fall on this date though as Andrew really enjoyed himself last time, didn't he?

Fine by me. To be honest, I am not going to have much (at all) new ready to play, so my stint shall be brief.

I think in total I have about 12 mins of stuff that I would play so it doesn't bother me at all Others might have been wanting more, though? It'll probably balance out well but I don't want anyone feeling "short-changed" if they don't get their full slot.

12 minutes or thereabouts is fine by me.

My sonatina takes around 10 minutes, and then hoping to do a duet with Barry, but reckon that will probaly only take a couple of minutes - Barry?

I'm only dying to play 2 pieces on that piano, which should come to only about 7-8 min. Plus the Barry duet which I'm sure is very short.

Btw, do people like brownies? I'm testing my dessert recipes in advance of all the parties and next week is brownies, and I shouldn't be eating them all by myself...

One of my fellow students has offered to bring mince pies but I'm not sure snacking is such a good idea if we're eating afterwards! We won't fit out the door!

Looks like I can to Waterloo without having to go to London Bridge. do I want Waterloo or Waterloo East? Can you PM or text me what time you are expecting to arrive at Waterloo, and perhaps we can meet to go to the venue?

You can't get lost once you get to Waterloo From the station, come out the Tenison Way exit (down the escalator near the former Eurostar entrance and follow the subway), you'll see a church across the street and Exton St (where the venue is) is immediately to the right of the church; the venue is on the right hand side around the middle of the street.

There's little or no difference eldatom : I'll let you know my rough time of arrival next week. From my neck of the woods, the trains go to Waterloo East, but it's just as easy for me to meet you at Waterloo Main.

Waterloo East is best for me too, the trains are more regular and the change is at East Croydon rather than Clapham Junction, I would much rather that as I know East Croydon station.
