I'm not a pianist (unless you count pre-grade 1, which I don't laugh.gif), but I found this very interesting anyway, as the phrasing comments and his views on controlling the emotive aspects could be applied to any piece. Rubinstein was such an amazing pianist, even at that age. His hands seemed so frail though!

Who was the student? He seemed scared half the time!
