Joking aside, (and yes, it is temping to tell them you weren't born yesterday!) I strongly recommend that you delete and do not reply.

If they hear from you it tells them your e-mail address is active and leaves you open to further nuisance.

I know you are the voice of reason Maggiemay, but I had great fun a couple of years back. New to the scamming game, I took a prospective lead email too seriously, and started an earnest correspondence. Whilst this was going on my hubby did some basic checks for me, over the internet. The emails fromt the scammer got stronger and stronger in tone, and apparently mine stayed professional and concise about my terms and conditions. Eventually I told them that I'd had their info checked out, that their names did not much their puported locale and they could forget about booking lessons! Apparently an 'associate' was waiting to pay me my fee. I had no more scams directed at me than might be expected, if anything no one tried it on for months.

...and likewise there are some hilarious tales on the internet about those who have scammed the scammers (I've posted before about some of these - very entertaining reading - do a google search on the order of the redbreast if you want a laugh).

However I also know there are innocent people who mistakenly replied in good faith and were hounded and threatened for months by scammers - it's as well to be aware.
