Hi to all my fellow music lovers, new to the forum looking forward to many intersting discussions,I can play brass instruments the euphonium being my favourite, go on then someone ask me what a euphonium is, alright then I will this instrument is the tenor voice in the brass band world, just think opera singers, 4 valve instrument, parts are written for the euph in both the tenor and bass clef any fellow bandsmen on the site hope so, also play the piano or try to, have my grades in theory up to and including grade 5 self taught and practical grades 1 and 2 for piano, just getting back to playing after major operation hope to continue my practical grades next year, shoul mention I am a very mature student in my early seventies biggest regret in life i did not stick into my music in my younger days but never late than never bye for now

Hi there and welcome welcome.gif wave.gif

I was a soprano cornet player in brass bands for a number of years but had to give it up to concentrate on the trumpet stuff. There aren't that many brass players around here so hopefully you will help improve that smile.gif I love euph aswell. such a gorgeous sound and some brilliant solos about.

Nice to meet you and hope to see you around the forums smile.gif

Welcome to the forums billyboy! We don't have all that many brass players here, as Juniper has said, so it's good to see a new brass musician posting! smile.gif

Hello and welcome! If the euphonium is the tenor voice in the world of brass, it must be the best!
