Are we eating/drinking after the event?

Who would be interested? If you let me know ASAP I will make enquiries. I hadn't mentioned it because of the early finish - we'll probably be out by 4-ish. An alternative to a later meal would be to go to the Walled Garden cafe, which sells light bites and is open till 5 pm, though the garden is still open after the cafe closes. Information is
here.

- Walled Garden café or otherwise

The Walled Garden sounds good as I then have time to get back to Heathrow.
Is it the 555 that I need to get between Heathrow & Sunbury?

Having further thoughts about eating after the event - the Walled Garden is immediately opposite The Magpie pub, so if anyone who hasn't got to leave wants a more substantial meal a little later they could continue there.

Well, I expect by now that Suepea has worked out that I couldn't organise my schedule in the UK to make the event but I see you now have quorum, so that's good. I am very sorry I can't be there with you all and I hope you thoroughly enjoy it, so that performance nerves (or at least worrying about them) become a thing of the past.
Have a great time!

I'm looking in to that one, Barry - apparently there's a birthday party booked for that evening but they may still be able to accommodate us. It's quite a big pub. I'm waiting for a phone call. Otherwise I may have to re-think.

Sorry you can't make it, Katica. Hope you enjoy the rest of your time in the UK. I think that "...at least worrying about them ..." sums up what we are trying to achieve.

The Magpie can't have us, so I'm trying the Flower Pot. My big problem is not knowing how many to allow for - I'm guessing at 8-14, which is quite a large difference.

Argh I'd really like to make this but I have a mountain of work to get done piano wise...

Will let you know if I'm a late notice attendee... Barry, if I do decide to go, do you want a lift?

Beware though Barry - at my piano lesson today my teacher still had to correct the timing on my accompaniment! Talk about nerves!!!!

Hi Suepea,
Many thanks for an interesting and very enjoyable day. I think we had a great mix of instruments and talents who came together with a common aim and I know I had great fun, the concert was very good as well

Suepea, thank you so much for organising such a great day. The workshop had great practical tips which will be easy to put into practice. I so enjoyed the concert - it was wonderful to hear such lovely music being played. The venue was excellent with a great piano - always a bonus!
