Well, we have a 'What were you doing before' thread and a 'What are you going to do after' thread, so it only makes sense to have a 'What are you doing now' one, too! This is assuming, of course, that you are all doing something else at the same time, which is often what I am doing. I'm always logged on here, and I refer to the forums every once in a while while I'm busy. This thread might very well flop, but it's worth a try!
Right now, I am taking a well-deserved break from obsessing with university to write a little.

Daft old Henry is deciding never to partake of red wine before trying to post here ever again.

And also I am trying to get some lines into my head. Why do I forget the same bits at almost every run-through? Then I shall make some toasted cheese. Perhaps I should post that in the "What will you do next" thread and post about how I went for a run earlier in the "What did you do before" thread!

Thanks. It nearly wasn't up to me whether or not to keep it yesterday when I caught it on my glasses and nearly yanked it out. Much pain, but it's perfectly fine now!
Anyway, I met up with my brother for a drink, and he immediately rang my mum, and told her - robbing me of a huge pleasure I was anticipating - seeing her face.

That's the right attitude

It annoys me how many people dismiss doing, say, retail work because they think it is beneath them (ironically it tends to be the less academic who adopt this stance, in my experience)... Keep looking!

Oh, and to echo those sentiments, good luck with the solo, Lucy!

Thanks guys, good luck to you too Stephie, I don't see what's wrong with working in tesco. Actually here supermarkets are the most sought after jobs because, as students, we can get a job at the one nearest to us, and usually manage to just transfer to the one that's nearest to home, in the holidays.

I've asked, but none of them are looking at the moment. I'll keep trying though, because the jobs I've applied for are temporary for Christmas, so I'll need something else come January!

I've just realised that it looks like I meant that my oboe was ?825, which it isn't... it's actually ?2,825, but I'm getting a loan for the first ?2,000...
