Getting ready to go out to see some local bands at a nearby pub I've been warned by a friend that apparently it's a little rough there, but I've just googled it and the only review I can find raves on about how good their mince and dumplings are, so I'm not convinced!

Deciding whether to practise the piano for the second stint of the day or to listen to John Eliot-Gardiner conduct Monteverdi Vespers at the Proms.

I'd go for the Vespers, myself.

Watching Eastenders! I haven't watched for years, but caught it yesterday (or possibly Wednesday) by mistake, and it was all terribly dramatic (in more ways than one) and then tonight I get to see Barbara Windsor leaving. It's all too much - I don't think I'll need to watch it again for another couple of years

Nursing my poor injured elbow... Some guy last night started dancing with me but because the floor was wet, I slid and landed on my backside and elbow The worst part was that the guy just left and didn't even help me up! My sister just stood there laughing at me. I am Not Amused.

Out of 6 people booked to see me, 4 have either cancelled or just failed to turn up.

They were the ones that asked for the appointments, and chunter at how long they have to wait.

So far all are on for this afternoon. Would be nice if they at least called to say if they won't be coming. People have a habit of rolling up 25 minutes late and looking astonished when not greeted with open arms and a big smile. (And that's in GOOD weather!)
