well sadly im at work till 9pm tonight, so i shall be working at my desk (or at least looking like im working haha) but right at this second im on the forum with a cup of coffee

and *cough cough* checking my facebook haha

Formatting old HDDs at work so that when we dispose of them no sensative data can get accessed. It is taking ages as we are having to use an ancient machine as these are ancient HDDs.

Formatting? You mean scrubbing, I hope... Formatting won't clear the data.

To be honest, I favour a large magnet and a hammer if they don't have to be re-used.

I am right clicking my computer > manage > storage > disk manmagement (local) > right click D and select format > then delete the partion.
My manager has said later that I can take a hammer to the HDDs.

Seeing people at the office eating lunch before me doesn't help at all, but I have managed to get more used to it than when I first started working at this company.

Avoiding my maths and trying to persuade myself that going to the piano would result in not doing any more maths today. And the maths is urgent. So the piano is a Bad Idea.
I admit telling a music forum that I'm trying to avoid ruining a maths day with music is a bit silly and probably isn't helping me avoid the lure of the piano...

Yes, you are right. 20 minutes more and then I shall go and reward myself with the piano. Then the problem of stepping away from the piano and coming back to the maths shall be tackled. I'm not hugely motivated today!

Well definitely not violining Barry, maybe flute but I'm a bit dubious to commit unless I can find a teacher to help me prepare the piece. It is more likely to be clari, and I think I might have found something

When some kind people decided to try to burn down the local sub-station just after the Stalybridge concert two years ago, it was not funny having no electricity for 72 hours...

Electric back for a while at the moment. They've bypassed overhead as it appears to be an underground problem. So lots of digging and probably no electric for a while later.
Still it's been great for practising undistracted, can't vacuum or iron or do the washing
