I can say that because I've been job searching for about a year

If I had been trying to get a job for 12 months I really would be in despair and I may not be so polite in how I write about the situation. Luckily I have only been looking for about 5 weeks.

I am attempting to set up the wireless functionality of my printer. I have got it set up with my router now I just have to get it to communicate wirelessly with my PC.

Yes. Although my PC refused to install the EpsonNet Print driver from the CD, however it successfully installed when I downloaded the exact same driver from the internet.

Now I can move it futher away from my PC so as stop it cluttering up my desk! There was not really enough space for it on my desk anyway.

Taking a break from packing. I think I'm getting there now, just the kitchen stuff to do, and the remaining clutter to collect up, and the clothes I am frantically laundering to find something to put in, and a couple of items of furniture to dismantle...

Taking a break from cleaning out the greenhouse. A good job done though. All the trays, pots and seed trays cleaned and ready for next year. Surfaces wiped down, floor brushed. Can't do much else until the tomatoes have cropped. All in all a good days work.

Playing scrabble on FB with my brother. He beats me two out of three times. It's a kind of self-mortification exercise

If I beat my little brother in scrabble pigs would have flown and satan is wearing a bobble hat. I am pleased with myself if his score is less than 4x mine.

Thinking of all the packing I have to do - for my third teaching trip in under a month...

I just got back from a long day and this damp weather is playing havoc with my arthritis..I'm absolutely crippled with it and hobbling along like an old man..I hate the damp..

I'm currently waiting until 9am to log on to UCAS to see if I've gotten a university place! THEN to school for actual results!

Some people got their results from UCAS track at 6am! Son has been trying since 8, but it's either busy or unavailable Good Luck with your results

I got on at half 7, but you'd think that they'd have thought up a way to stop the system crashing after this happens every year!

Marathon day with the decorators lining the studio ceiling which at a shade under 5 meters high is no mean feat..I have been up and down ruddy ladders all day cutting this reinforced paper which sticks like the proverbial ..... to a blanket as at this ceiling height I have no desire to be constantly popping up and down filling in studs that pop. Tomorrow its the same all over again..then we will get painting on saturday..

I am completely knick knacked..and shall sleep like a log
