Having better taste, I watched a four hour DVD of "Searching For Beethoven" One of the speakers fom the Beethoven study day was on it. Still as enthusiastic and manic bless him!

Getting the motivation to put down this laptop, and move to my study computer and study... going via the kitchen for a tea on the way hopefully should help this process...

Thanks it's playing the piano to accompany a local adult choir (for rehearsals only, not concerts) in the Autumn term, once a week. I'm quite worried actually, as last year it was a friend of mine, who's recently passed his DipABRSM, and is very experienced at accompanying. I hope they won't be too critical...

Anyway, back on topic, I am now trying to do my Geography homework.

I am putting off going to bed.


Don't really know why because I'm tired and want to sleep.


The house is cold and bed will be nice and warm thanks to my heated blanket...

What is tiger chest bread?

Mmmmm it's really nice bread with a lovely crispy crust on the outside! You can usually get it in Asda if you go morning/afternoon. I love it!

Tapping my foot impatiently whilst I wait for Shan to come downstairs so we can go out in the sun! I swear, my sister must take about an hour and a half EVERY DAY just getting dressed and putting some light make up on. I mean, I'M a girl too, and all I need to get ready is about half an hour!

Watching Harry Potter and golf, eating piri-piri (or peri peri) chicken and wondering how long I will have to stay up on monday night to finish TMA02-70% done, but had enuff for one day. Oh, and laughing at those huge dominos-hee hee.

Watching Broken Arrow, but not really paying much attention as it's not my kind of film, although always good fun watching John Travolta over-acting This one is OH's choice - mine was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix but it's finished now.

Taking a break from revising

How's it going?

I took a study-break 3 hours ago... and just woke up. (My body can only cope with about 3 hours of activity before needing to completely recuperate.)

It's going okay, actually-I'm revising chemistry, which I adore, but I seemed to have been having real trouble getting it to stick in my head...fortunately, I seem to be getting there, through lots and lots of reading stuff through, writing stuff down, doing practice questions, making Post-It notes...you get the idea! how was your studying going, Celeste?

I loved chemistry too - I always had lots of huge pieces of paper with notes stuck all over my bedroom! Are you doing GCSE?

It was going ok, thanks. I'm trying to critically review research reports but it's not the most enthralling activity in the world!

Ihate huge pieces of paper-anything bigger than A4 and I'm just about ready for tears! but you wouldn't believe the number of Post-It notes on my wardrobe! Good luck with your reviews

I'm watching The Mask of Zorro with my son. He's supposed to be revising too, but he has managed to some every day of the holidays so far, and though he hasn't done a lot by some people's standards, he's done far more than I expected him too. So we're full of roast lamb and veg and are enjoying a good swashbuckle.
