I'm about to go into town to get some dark hair dye... I've been blonde for about 14 hours and... Hmm.

Are you no longer blonde? I would've thought it would really suit you!

I think I would need to have it done professionally. You know that ginger duck on campus?... ph34r.gif

I'm a lighter, cooler brown now which is subtly different but seems to make my complexion look a bit fresher. smile.gif

Nothing ph34r.gif Apart from being on the forums... I should REALLY go and get ready.

They're ever so simple to do. Of course you must remember to put the oven on a couple of hours before you intend to eat it! (Not forgetting to put the potato in the oven to cook! - I've forgotten to do that before now, being most disappointed when it came to take it out again, noticing the potato left on the hob, still waiting to be introduced to the heat!)

I'll definitely have to try it asap - is it healthy?

The potato - yes! It's what tends to accompany it, that isn't! biggrin.gif

You can use cream cheese instead of cheddar, margerine instead of butter or whatever combination of filling you want. Today I chose 'coronation chicken deli filling', probably meant for sandwiches, but who cares! smile.gif

My friend in Dublin told me the whole bottled cider and ice thing started because Irish people didn't trust the pumps and the bottles were never kept in the fridge. Not sure if this is just a rumour but it seems to have taken on here laugh.gif

Recovering from accompanying for five hours today!!

I joined the singing lessons of eight girls preparing for next week's festival.

Set songs and 'own choices', classical, from the Shows ....

That was after invigilating the annual Junior Mathematical Challenge this morning - the paper was easy-peasy (for me!).

Really, I ought to have saved the paper to tackle during the few minutes' down-time between singers, whilst they were having their warm-ups. biggrin.gif

Yes indeed. That's the one! smile.gif

As usual, I did it in my head, so that none of the candidates could accidentally catch sight of my answers. I've done that with the Intermediate Challenge too, in the past, although it is much harder to do.

The Headmaster once asked me what the difference was between the Intermediate and Senior Challenges. I said that for the Senior paper I needed a pencil and paper!

This isn't bragging - what else would you expect of a Maths teacher? biggrin.gif

I have her original books so unfortunately no, no copies there!!! sad.gif If it hadn't been for the fact that I'm not going to have another lesson for a month she probably could have made me do something else but it's probably better on this occasion to try to rectify a few problems I'm having with my pieces so I can practise them properly next month! smile.gif
Good thing is that she found it funny and was still laughing when I left!!! rolleyes.gif blush.gif
