That was after invigilating the annual Junior Mathematical Challenge this morning - the paper was easy-peasy (for
me!).
Really, I ought to have saved the paper to tackle during the few minutes' down-time between singers, whilst they were having their warm-ups.

Is that the one with the multiple choice answers? I've done that every year since year seven, I love it!

Yes indeed. That's the one!
As usual, I did it in my head, so that none of the candidates could accidentally catch sight of my answers. I've done that with the Intermediate Challenge too, in the past, although it is much harder to do.
The Headmaster once asked me what the difference was between the Intermediate and Senior Challenges. I said that for the Senior paper I needed a pencil and paper!
This isn't bragging - what else would you expect of a Maths teacher?

Sitting at home feeling really guilty!
Packed my bag with my books to go to my piano lesson. Changed my clothes. Picked bag and went to teacher's house, sat at the piano and suddenly realised I had picked up the wrong bag and had no music with me!!!
Didn't your teacher have duplicate copies? You could have sightread them!
