Where would you reccommend I go, on the internet, to purchase violin sheet music, other than musicroom.com?

I thought there prices were high and also the search function is not brilliant on their site.

Have a look at

www.fullermusic.co.uk

...not always the cheapest for price, but have a huge range and I have had good service from them.

And of course amazon and ebay are worth checking.

I second this. They provide first class advice over the phone if you're not sure exactly what you're looking for or if you can't choose between different editions. You can order online or over the phone and most times delivery is the next day. Among the best and most personal service I have received from any shop or service provider anywhere - music or otherwise.

I'm not sure whether you can do it online but Blackwell's music department in Oxford is very good too. They have a huge stock and if they don't have what you're looking for they can almost always get it.

I find the Boosey & Hawkes selection to be almost unsurpassed, and many items are cheaper than musicroom ...

Before paying for anything I always check IMSLP. There's quite a lot of stuff they won't have if it's copyrighted but they should have all Bach Mozart etc so quite a lot of useful repertory for free. smile.gif

If you do order from Fuller music make sure you do order the right piece and edition as they have a no returns policy as I found out earlier this year when I ordered the wrong study book for one of my boys.
