Noticed my local shop has started to stock these - I suspect they are an 'own brand' type thing (prob introduced due to the credit crunch!) and wondered if anyone had tried them. Had to stop renting the Yamaha while on mat leave as I had no money, and my knackered old Boosey is needing a service which I'm a bit loathe to pay for given as it costs more than the flute's worth!! I want to start practising again but I can't seem to motivate myself when I know I can't reach the second octave on my flute (could on the Yamaha, but my technique just isn't good enough to make a less good flute do what I want). I can't afford to pay out for a second hand flute but these Notus ones are available on hire purchase at less than £7 a month! My shop's pretty good so I imagine they're ok but any opinions before I go and give one a whirl?
Ta! [smile]
