I discovered today that my latest composition (Myriads, for Clarinet, sax, and piano) has been shortlisted for the reedplay competition (Victoria Soames-Samek, Jefferey Wilson, and Tim Watts) and that it is going to be performed in a workshop at the Guildhall school of Music and drama THIS Saturday.

It's a nice surprise as I only saw the competition in October and only had about 2 1/2 weeks to write it for the deadline!

I've been invited to attend but it's just going to be too tricky I think!

Appaprantely the workshop is on from 3 - 6 pm on saturday at the Guildhall school of music so i'd be interested to hear if anyone is going to this event...and can you fill me in after?!

Aww , were it not for the fact I'm up north this weekend, I'd have probably gone to have a listen...
