Thanks for the reply. I know both of these (and had forgotten about the Lewin!) and was leaning towards getting her the Crusell but thought I'd explore some other music before making my final decision.

From searching on the Emerson site I've found some other interesting sounding pieces. 4 Hungarian Folk Songs by Draskoczy. I don't know them but I did a piece by him for my end of uni recital that was great fun. Also, the concert pieces by Mendelssohn. I remember a friend of mine performing these at uni but can't remember how difficult they were. They also have a piano part so I thought they'd be a good option for a possible ensemble piece (my pupil is doing A level music). Does anyone know Baermann's Duo Concertant? or Lefevre's Duo Concertans?
