From November 22nd, Liverpool and the Wirral is going to overrun by over 100 five-foot high penguins, in the same theme as the lambananas last summer laugh.gif The lambananas were brilliant - can't wait to see the penguins biggrin.gif

This Christmas, Liverpool will, once again, dazzle the world with its creativity as colonies of beautifully created penguins form a ‘Winter’s Trail’ around the city highlighting the city’s cultural and seasonal offerings.

Stand-up comedians all over the UK must be writing like crazy, preparing their jokes!! laugh.gif

After all,

Why did Ryanair stop planes landing at Liverpool airport?

Cos kids kept nicking the tyres!

Thanks!! biggrin.gif
I recognised at least 10 of them! There's one in the park where my cousins walk their dog, and one of their neighbours actually bought one when it got auctioned for charity! wink.gif

Good Heavens, I haven't heard anything about this in any local paper or on the TV News. Maybe I had better start running. Wonder if I could catch one and roast it for dinner?

They've re-printed the Go Superlambananas book - apparently 6000 copies sold out in two weeks when they first published it! My sister has just bought the reprint and I've asked her to get me a copy too - here it is in case you want to put it on your Christmas list, madbassoonist biggrin.gif
