Just wondered! My teacher doesn't know either as I am the first student to do theory at the school (I convinced him to do theory exams - ). Should I be expecting a phone call, a letter..and when, more or less? P.S. I am not in the UK.

In the UK when you teachers enter you, they have an applicant's number. With this they can view your results online when they arrive. An email is usually sent to teachers to notify them when the results are online. Some teachers log into the site from time to time to check if the results are there. The other alternative is that your teacher will receive your results in the post, if it was him or her that entered you. If you entered yourself, then the notification will come to you. In the UK they definitely do not phone you. Good luck with your results. Also it can take between four to six weeks to receive the results.

did you enter yourself for the theory exam and online? If so, then you should have an applicant number and you can check yourself. The ABRSM send you an email when your results are online, however, sometimes your results are there before you receive that email.

Other than that, I think you will have to wait for them in the post.

You will get the results in the post or the school will get them in the post depending on whether you entered yourself or the school entered you. The results are normally available 4-6 weeks after the exam date if I remember correctly. In my experience, theory results have come in around 4 weeks after the exam date but I'm in the UK so it may be different elsewhere

You will get a certificate and mark sheet with a breakdown for each main question. I thought online entry was currently only available in the UK but I might be wrong on this - again you or your teacher should be able to see the results online if it is available to you but only after the 4-6 weeks marking time is up. The online results are usually published when the hard copy results are posted out so you can gain a couple of days advance with the online results. You will probably need the applicant number to ring up and ask your local rep for information but they will never give results out over the telephone, you will have to wait for the official post.
