Full Version: Really Pleased
Had a really good lesson with my new(ish) clarinet teacher this afternoon. I'd had a frustrating couple of weeks' practice, where I got hung up on one short passage in one short piece, and spent ages getting nowhere with it and neglecting everything else. So we did some good work on that and a bit of work on technique and getting a nice sound. Then I tried reading through some new studies and my teacher said that in the New Year I could start working on Grade 3 or maybe even 4 and I am so pleased! I've been playing for a year now and I thought I might start with Grade 2 so I'm feeling hugely encouraged.
