I just started another weekend job 6 weeks ago and that is me being paid off already, along with 6 other staff members.
It seems just now every job can only take people on for a little while (not just xmas temp).
The last job 3 off us got paid off and the job before that.
I realise it's ten times worse for those getting made redundant with families.
Gahhh I wish I could just find a good permanent job to get me through Uni.
Anyone else in the same boat...

Do you have a Wutherspoons near you? I know they are usually always wanting staff and know of a few students that work there to see them through Uni.

Livingston is FULL of roundabouts LOL
My aunt and uncle live near there in Overton, near Wishaw.
I love through that way, there's always a Primark, there's none hear in Livi, we have to go to Dunfermline or Glasgow.
I think Lanark is too far away for a weekend job though LOL
