in my theory exam i hoped so much i would have to transpose anything a minor third, when it came up i was gutted. i thing i got it all wrong but i did all right on the other stuff not good just allright could i still have passed?

Yes because there are the other questions aswell mind like the cadances at the last question it is worth 15 marks and the composing eight bar thingy is also worth 15 marks.. so you would of passed if you messed up your transpoisition even though i did really bad aswell..

Dont panic providing that is the only thing you have made errors on, I would suggest at least you will have gained a merit. Remember it's 66 to pass and 80 for merit and 90 for a distinction. I am pretty sure you will have passed. Good luck for your results.

I passed!!! I am rele pleased cause i definately thought i'd fail because i did the transposing back to front!!!!! He he and it went really bad bad but at least i passed! Good luck to anyone else who has just gotten their results.

Rubbish at theory ?? HA HA-You shud see my acheivments.I had a great talent at piano and passed grade 5 music at ext.,winning comps .,taking part in concerts etc. but had no confidence at theory.Have heard that grade 5 is equiv.of an 'o' level,so 15 years on (now) i wud have had a degree by now !
