Hi Everyone!
Can someone tell me how long the theory exams take. I'm thinking about taking grade 3 soon as I'm really out of practice with theory!
Thanks!

Grades 1 - 3: one and a half hours
Grades 4 - 5: 2 hours

Not sure about the higher grades though.

I just took my grade 3, passed with 75/100.
We got 1 and a half hours, but it took me 50 minutes. You can leave after 45 minutes.

The questions are ok. Key sigs only go up to 5 sharps/flats (or something like that)
Revise tonic triads and musical terms. Thats where I slipped up!
If your ok with rhythm you'll be fine.

Good luck!

Hey! That's really great! Well done! Thanks for the tips. I'm really nervous I have done theory in about 3 years. Feel like I can't remember anything.
