To the person who picked the 6 pieces for List C....What were you thinking? I've chosen Bartok's "An Evening in the Village: no.5 from '10 Easy Pieces'" - If thats a way of showing An Evening in the village, then I'm glad I don't live there.

(I know some people will like those pieces and i understand we all have different tastes but I feel better now for that..... :-)

lol I quite like this one, but I kind of know what you mean ............ I had a lady (from overseas) doing this exam earlier, and ALL the group C pieces were quite a shock to her, we had difficulty knowing where to start.

In the end she learnt the Bartok and the Bossa Nova. I played her some folk music from eastern europe and I think that helped with the Bartok, she made quite a good job of it although chose to do the Bossa Nova for the exam.

i have a thing for semiquavers for some reason which is why i like allegro molto. the one thing i don't like about it is that everyone plays it. i've entered a competition and about half the people who've entered are playing it!

hi i dont think any of the peices were any good although i'm getting to like the a and b pieces - the best peice i think in the C list is the bossa nova - although this is only because i prefer jazz - blues bossa nova- but not some of the more contempory music that's in the C list
