Full Version: Pain When Playing While Sitting

A Friend of mine has a problem when playing Violin while she's sitting. Apparently, it always starts to hurt about 30 minutes into it.
The pain is in her "right trapezious area, sometimes almost near my lats. It's weird, it never happens when I play standing up."

Any thoughts/ideas?

I would say bad posture while sitting.
