Does anyone know how long to get the Trinity/Guildhall certificates through?
I took my Licentiate in December and got the marksheet through about a month ago but I'm not sure when to expect the certificate.
Thanks smile.gif

I would ring and ask your local centre rep - my ATCL certificate took months to come - a couple of years ago now. I chased them in September after getting my final results before the summer holiday. When the certificate came, it was dated April! I know they send them to a calligraphed and they do them in batches - that is what I was told at the time. I don't know how much the process varies between different centres.

My Trinity certificates (before they joined with Guildhall) took about 4 months.

Think I've replied to this is my other post but...5 months my ATCL certificate took, and I'd got the stage of phoning London more than once because I began to doubt I'd actually passed the thing! First it was the postal strike, then they blamed the calligrapher, and even when it goes out from London it has to go via the rep! Then when it arrived it was so big I didn't know what to do with it...bit too showy to stick on the wall.

Aaages. I took my ATCL in a June diet of exams and got the certificate in December, I think (problem with the embossing machine rolleyes.gif ) - LGSMD came through a little more quickly with the exam in November and the certificate arriving in March. I thought the packaging of my certificates was actually the showy bit, rather than the certificates themselves, and I do think they are attractive enough to hang up. They are a nonstandard size, a little bigger than A4, but very nicely written.

Ok, so a bit of a wait yet then!
But at least they look nice when they finally arrive, by the sounds of it smile.gif

I got my certificate this morning, having taken the exam in November... unfortunately the Royal mail appear to have fed it through a machine that has all but ripped it in half. mad.gif Will now have to wait at least another 3 months or so before I get a replacement, never mind the wrangling that will no doubt occurr on the way with the postal service should TG levy a charge for a replacement, which in fairness to them I guess they are perfectly within their rights to do...
