I won't be needing 20 mins, so those want more are welcome to (at least) half of mine biggrin.gif

Unless anyone objects I'll book here:

http://www.pizzaparadiso.co.uk/locations/the_cut/

Italian is very veggie friendly smile.gif Will make the reservation for 10 people.

Also, brace yourselves, I'm not sure I will be heading to the Doom Bar pub as I may have to shoot off to meet a friend who is leaving the country for a while ( that sounds sinister-it's not wink.gif )

See you all Sunday : I'll aim to get there sometime around the 2pm sort of area. smile.gif
Solari
Any last minute people want to join in tomorrow? Unfortunately eldatom and taxidriver have had to drop out... sad.gif

Not sure if I should drop it to 3 hours now if we don't have many people!
DaisyChain
Sorry I won't be coming. sad.gif Hope the day goes well for everyone. smile.gif
Invidia
so i don't have to do any accompanying?

as for dropping it to 3 hours, that might be best. i am definitely still coming unless i break my fingers overnight =P

Nope, I think they'll be fine with us dropping it to 3 hours (it'll work out a fair bit cheaper too). That gives us plenty of time to maybe have a bit of time messing around and doing some improv etc smile.gif
eldatom
Sorry I had to drop out but hope that you all have a great day and I look forward to the next gathering.
barry-clari
That was fun : thanks Sol and gang. Hope my grade 1 aberration didn't make your ears hurt too much laugh.gif

Benjy, Invidia...wow... notworthy.gif

Yet another great event organised by Sol. As usual, the standard was varied with some virtuoso performances, and then me bringing up the rear. Inspirational though, I did manage a very good practice session last night.

Now need to try and find that Liszt piece and place an order. (the cd, not the score!)

Sounds like you all had fun, sorry that I missed you. And even more sorry that I missed you playing on the piano Barry.

If you're doing 10th July, I'll be giving it another go, so you can have a listen then. Bring earplugs laugh.gif

It was indeed fun. Thanks to Solari and JoMook for organising smile.gif
Benjy
Many thanks to all who who were there for playing and sympathetic listening. Special thanks to Solari for setting it up. Good location and lovely piano.

Hope to see you all at future events (and do put me on stand by for July). smile.gif

Will do! Well played, all smile.gif

Feeling a bit ill today, didn't make it to work, but at least it waited until today and didn't ruin the weekend! tongue.gif

etude XI I think
Invidia
The Liszt was 'Harmonies du Soir', you got the number right; 11 from '12 Etudes d'execution transcendante'.

If you're looking for recordings, Arrau or Cziffra come highly recommended!

It was a good day, I enjoyed hearing everyone =]

Sounds like you did yet another good job Sol, sorry to hear that you are feeling poorly and hope that you are feeling better today.
