Hi ppl

Im doing grade 4 piano in june and my sight reading ability is virtually non existant!I can play all the slow ones quite well but when it comes to the fast ones I struggle.any tips?!What do exactly do the examiners look for in the test.

Also in the 30secs before u have to play can u actually play the whole piece thru or are u only allowed to pick certain bits coz ive never really known what to do in that part!!!

Any advice/help would be gr8!!!!

The trick is to play a fast piece a bit slower than u think it would go, even though it might sound slow it probably isnt. So YOU think you're playing it slow so you'll be able to handle it ok and it will sound great!
