So, who has bought any of the new ABRSM trumpet grade CDs?

I used something similar before the change in syllabus made them all obsolete in a stroke! I've since bought grades 4, 5 & 6 from the new releases and find them a real help in lessons.

If I was to be ultra-picky, I'd say:

A count into the demo would've been useful to help the learner to play along with the pro.
The 'minus one' track to follow the demo as the next track. Simpler, that's all.
The 'jazz' studies should've been recorded by a jazz trumpeter. They sound awkward and unauthentic.
Why do they get more expensive the higher the grade gets? The higher ones are only a selection and consequently have less tracks on them.

Having said this, I fully intend to, eventually, purchase all the grade CDs as I do think they are invaluable.

P.S. Anyone spotted the wrong note in the Grade 5 Bourgeois study No. 10?!!
