Hope everything goes well this afternoon, I'm sure it will be a wonderful send off

I have the only rehearsal for Kate and my concert (on Thurs) in the ballroom later this afternoon (with an accompanist that still wasn't getting too many notes in the right order last night!). Bit nervous as it's the first time any of the military band have actually heard me sing
Hope they aren't disappointed

The funeral went as well as a funeral can but our car decided to start overheating before it so my husband and I had to travel separately 1 adult and 1 child each in another family member's car. These were more distant family members who we didn't really know so was rather less than ideal!!

Then had to put on my Mum and go back to hers all unplanned and await the AA. Who didn't turn up for an hour and then had to go off again to get the right vehicle to recover us home.

Didn't get back in until just gone 10pm and the kids had to be back at school today too!!

It was not what we needed on this particular day

Off to a top and tail rehearsal before the big concert tonight (biggest thing I've ever sung solo in...)
Dress? Check...Makeup? check....shoes? Check... Nervous? Terrified!

Thanks! It was OK....but I got nervous and technique fled. Bit cross with myself tonight, although got lots of good comments. Kate sang beautifully as always, and her Somewhere over the Rainbow stole the evening. ?3000 raised for prostrate cancer, so a good night all in all.

Sounds good And that's a lot of money raised : well done all round!

I was so exhausted yesterday after a stressful couple of weeks, and then running a training day in Deepest Sussex, that I was actually in bed and asleep at 8.30pm (unheard of) - didn't get up til 9am and went back to bed for an hour this afternoon.

I feel absolutely done in and really unwell with it.
