Book my Windows 7 exam.
You can do Windows 7 exams? I've only got Vista so I'd fail

Vista is not worth the effort as I have yet to discover a firm that runs Vista on their network. Anyway it the 1st exam of 5 I need to pass to become MCITP qualified. It is also the easiest!
P.S: Booked it for after work tommorow. I didn't want to wait until Monday even though that way I could have gone to my prefered centre.

I then noticed a piece of cable flapping a bit loose and pulled it away from behind the cupboard to find that it had been almost completely chewed through.

I would hate not knowing what the problem is. However as an IT analyst this should never happen.
I had an issue about 6 weeks ago where my router would not authenticate to the Orange servers. A quick check confirmed it was a problem at their end and I waited about 5 hours for them to restore the service. I was safe in knowledge it wasn't anything stupid I had done at my end or that I would be able to do anything to resolve it.
