Tune tenor viol (the instrument, not me ) as I need to check it's down to A415 (I think it is - I'm sure I dropped it from A440 last week). I've got a lesson on Thursday and I'm in London tomorrow, followed by choir so no chance to sort it out tomorrow.

I have SO much to do but just completely flaked out tonight and haven't done any of it.

Just a quick post - need to get out of teh house and head off to London for the day shortly - joys of West Coast mainline then the tube down to Canary Wharf.... hopefully should be just about back in time for choir tonight....

Go and tend to the sorry case of man-flu that's languishing upstairs. He hates being ill, so he's an awful patient

Take my dad and myself down to Eastbourne for the funeral of an aged cousin. Will be interesting to meet up with a rather long-lost branch of the family.

Having said I need to set up 26 new starters with their network accounts. Seeing as each one takes 10 minutes it is quite time consuming.

I've just finished some long overdue and arduous paperwork so am shortly going to plop self on the sofa with some coffee, chocolate and trash telly. And I DON'T CARE. It's my first day off SO THERE!

Time management problem today:
- lots of oboe practice needed to ensure ropey bits are solid for concert tomorrow pm
- reedmaking, as no decent reeds at the moment
- loads and loads of work to finish up (deadline Mar31)
- buying some decent shoes that will bear scrutiny (HATE shopping but I'm in the first row...)
- clearing out spare room as now can barely enter it because of all the junk

- do you always teach on Sundays? I do Mon-Fri and say they can have a slot whenever they want, so long as I have no other pupils then, of course! Or, it's not a car meet night in the summer, if so they can come in winter on agreement that May-Sept their time slot changes. Would not do weekends unless I was getting paid more money.

Need to think about giving the back garden a harder haircut than it got last week. The challenge is the slope (I need some serious hard landscaping doing including a 43ft retaining wall) and th elack of bank balance to do it
Front lawn seems to have suddenly got weed infested over the winter, so might have to look at that.

Car needs washing.....

Bag only has Fridays off .

I will be working. As one of my colleagues is away the work is really piling up, I have been working flat out continuously today apart from 30 minutes for lunch.

Going to collect daughter from uni! Not allowed to get there too soon, as she won't be ready (and besides which, I'll end up helping her to clear up!)
