Address the piano!

That Chopin Etude practice earlier today needs to be consolidated. The plan is to play it in the presence of some 200 people, in just under two months time. Now, that wouldn't be a problem with some pieces, but Chopin and an Etude at that, furthermore, probably the most well-known and beloved Etude - that's rather daunting at the moment!

Snuggle up with mwl1, some chocolate and season 6 of Friends.

There are 86,400 seconds in a day, so I can enjoy whittling it down, even though I don't alter the signature daily!

As it transpired, it was closer to your definition - I was rather commenting on my perceived piano technique!

Chet's has lured many away, from one type of keyboard to another - lost in their ivory (and ebony!) towers, they have yet to deem the Forums worthy of consideration!

I imagine that when their course is over, there will be the dilemma of whether or not to spend time imparting their newfound wisdom, especially when the pull of trying out new material on their own pianos will be so strong ..... at least for a few hours!


That said, I have yet to go to the piano today myself, so best do so soon - I'll make a cup of tea first though!

Work for an hour, shower, practice for an hour, then off to my piano teacher's place, as she wants to know all about the Chethams summer school. [I secretly think she'd like to take part in it next year!].

Dust off the piano which I've been ignoring for the last few days and start practising again...
